Ryuji Tsukishima

After his parents died and his grandfather was nearly killed by their kidnappers, the Hypatian Dragon-Raiders, Ryuji was given a third eye from the forlorn spirit of the eldritch dragon Sarnygerel. With the eye of Mokumokuren, Ryuji killed his captors with a telepathic mind-wiping blast, saving Yamiko Khulanotsu and his grandfather Daiji's life. Turning to the Khulanto, a dragon-based religion in Khulan, to purge the hate from his heart, Ryuji ultimately became a shinobi like his grandfather and his mentors Yamiko and Kirin Kuson. With his fellow pupils Tohmaz Rawleigh and Emeri Bakushiba, Ryuji strives to live up to be Sarnygerel's herald and an example to his people.
